Looks More Like a Puma

If you are taking / plan to take cpsc 332 with Dr. Yurttas at Texas A&M, you need yurttas-magic. This is a  ruby program I created partly for myself, mostly for y’all to maintain the absurd webpage where you turn in your homework and projects. All you need to do is put your source in whatever directory you want it, run the script and all your index.html files will be created automatically. Each one will have your name and email, and will list the contents of the folder grouped and alphabetized. Set-up takes 5 minutes and you’ll save yourself hours over the course of the semester.

I expect that this program could have value for other Yurttas classes, but I haven’t taken any of them, so I don’t know what sort of tweaking would be necessary. It’s possible that you just need to edit header.html to change “programming language design” to the name of  your class. If there is more to it, and you take the time to edit my ruby to make it work, I’d appreciate you letting me know so I can  post that  one  as well.

Naturally this thing’s completely open source and you’re free to do anything you want with it.  The only thing I ask is that you send other people here so they too can experience the magic.

1.2 Update - Sensible advice of friend to use an inline style removes the need to edit the default stylesheet.
