Black Fail

In an astonishing series of blunders on both sides, the Dorm 11 Chess Match has ended. Though black had white on a silver platter, it only took one spectacularly bad move to open the way for the white queen to end the game. I admit, I had worried that with the inconsistent play, neither side would be able to muster enough coordination for checkmate. It turns out, though, that you don’t necessarily need several good moves to win; just one bad one to lose.

UPDATE:  If you never felt like  reading the notation and playing the game out now you can watch it visually.
